The 2020 Thames Run will take place on Sunday 17th May at 9:30Enter Online
Like other races, we are keeping a close eye on the government's advice in relation to COVID-19. While the situation may develop over the next few weeks, as an outdoor event with fewer than 500 participants, we are currently working for the race to go ahead on Sunday 17th May as planned.
If the advice from the government changes, we will review our plans and update everyone through the Thames Run website, Facebook and email.
The Thames Run is a charity event raising money for Crowmarsh School PTA and Style Acre and the money we raise is an important contribution towards the activities of those organisations. However, our main priority is the health and safety of everyone involved.
In the meantime, get out there and keep running!
Thames Run Committee
The Wallingford 5K and10K Thames Run is run by volunteers to raise money for local Oxfordshire charities. This year we are proud to support Crowmarsh Gifford Primary School PTA and Style Acre, a charity committed to supporting the needs of people with learning disabilities in our community.
The Thames Run is a multi-terrain route along the local footpaths and banks of the river Thames, and back through the historic market town of Wallingford. For the 5k event runners complete one circuit of the route and for the 10k route two.
This is a community-run event with all profits going to Crowmarsh Gifford School PTA and Style Acre.
